B Tech is skill oriented.
Now-a-days, nobody is caring of the difference. Its only University dependeny. Strictly speaking, BE is more theoritical and B Tech is more practical. In BE we study the reasons also in depth. In B Tech we concentrate on skills. Deciding what is greater degree is dependent on the application/job you are doing. Engineers feel that BE is greater then B Tech. Hands-on-experience is preferable to knowledge in many countries (not in INDIA. In India, knowledge is only provided. People are not interested in hands-on-experience.) In many countries, an Engineer without skill is not an Engineer. To focus this point, B Tech course was developed. This way B Tech is greater than BE. Now, no difference.

ReplyDeleteas per as placements are concerned,, aftr MNIT & BITS... MBM njoys d 1st position despite all rumours,, placements of colleges in jaipur are greater "in number" than that of UCE KOTA & CTAE UDAIPUR....but...the main thing to notice is that d engg colleges of jaipur gives placement only in software fields ranging from 1.2 lpa to 3 lpa..doesn't matter u belong to mechanical or electrical or ece,, u'll get job only in softwares.. but.. in CTAE & UCE,, u will get huge opportunities to get job in core sector companies like vedanta, essar, L&T, Cairn energy..students of these college easily cracks the software companies so there is no need to discuss abt software placements..also level of studies here are very good,, so u can try to crack national level xams.. also sports & GYM facilities at CTAE are unmatchable.. u may also get opportunity to play national level university tournaments in various sports here..
ReplyDeleteMBM & CTAE are not a part of RTU..they are affiliated with JNV & MPUAT respectively.. so xams system here are very good..results are published on time..nearly 2 months after exams,, system is student friendly and transparent..various international & national level seminars are organised by institutions like ieee, iete etc every year.
ReplyDeletein addition, wi-fi connections with high speed internet are provided in each hostel of CTAE ( 4 boy's hostel + 1 girl's).
some project works in electronics department of CTAE are also funded by ministry of communication technology,indian government which are being carried out by both faculties & students together.
in CTAE placement session starts from november & continues till may end.
average placement is about 70% in ece, cse,IT, electrical, mecanical & civil,,, 50 % in agriculture engineering & "300 %" in mining engineering.. rest generally got placed in off-campus intrerviews..so no need to panic about it.
pay package starts from 3 lpa to 4.5 lpa.
interested companies are filtered before invitation,, minimum pay package is 3 lpa.
and CTAE is the largest college in rajasthan regarding area and infrastructure.

ReplyDeleteFor rest of the colleges through RPET, majority of placements are done through centralized campuses where one college becomes the host college and hundreds of students from other colleges also take part in the placement tests. It becomes like a fair and the selection rate is very low as compared to the number of students appearing for the tests.
