Siege After Mumbai Terror Wave

Explosions and gunfire were reported at two luxury hotels and a building housing a Jewish organization in Mumbai this morning following a string of coordinated attacks Wednesday in which assailants armed with guns and grenades killed at least 101 people and wounded 287.
Indian police and commandos were responding to hostage situations at the scene of two luxury hotels, the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and the Trident-Oberoi, and an apartment building housing an Orthodox Jewish organization in the southern part of the city, which was described as being under siege.
