Even as uncertainty continues over the fate of Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections with the Supreme Court to hear the matter on Friday, 58 nominations were filed on Thursday for the various posts of the state cricket body. Election officer RC Jain has received 61 nominations, including one on behalf of current RCA president Lalit Modi. An unknown person submitted a form on behalf of Modi and left in a hurry without taking the receipt."As far as the nomination of Lalit Modi is concerned an unknown person came in with a form and left without taking the receipt. As per the rules any of the three persons -- one, who is the candidate, two who proposes and third who seconds the name -- should be present at the time of filing the nomination.” Jain said.
There were no other nominations from Modi`s group. This year there is definitely tough for Modi to get RCA Presidency.
