Development plan will be focused on Poor and farmers - Ashok Gehlot

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announce today that development plans of his government will be focussed on poor, labourers and farmers living in villages. He was speaking at the foundation laying ceremony of ESI Medical College and Hospital at Desula village in Alwar district. The 300-bed hospital will be built at a cost of Rs1,000 crore as a part of Centre's project to establish 13 new ESI medical colleges and hospitals across the country.
Alwar is one of the most industrialized regions in the state and there is a huge population of laboures and factory workers here. The ESI hospital is expected to benefit more than 2 lakh workers. The chief minister also assured full support for establishment of a private university in the region.
Influence of the forthcoming parliamentary elections was evident on the occasion as speakers focussed on highlighting the achievements of the UPA government at the Centre and the work of the recently- elected Congress government in the state. The chief minister Ashok Gehlot claimed, "In limited time the state government has made historical decisions in direction of public welfare that will benefit the poor, labourers and farmers in the villages."
