Indian archers won five medals, including a Gold, on the first day of the ongoing Asian Grand Prix Championship in Bangkok. The Indian trio of V Pranitha, Rimil Biruly and Deepika won gold in 70m women's recurve FITA round team event with 1895 points ahead of Kazakhstan (1877) and Japan (1860).
In men's compound team event, Arjun Rao, Sanjay Swansi and Abhyudaya won a bronze. They tied with Vietnam but had to settle for third place for scoring on lesser number of 10s. V Pranitha and Rimil Biruly won a silver and a bronze each in women's recurve individual event shooting 647 and 631 points respectively.
