Terminally ill reality TV star Jade Goody finally wed her fiance Jack Tweed in an lavish but "heartrending" ceremony today at a country house hotel here.
Jade's publicist and friend Max Clifford confirmed the new to the reporters at the venue saying the couple tied the knot in "an outstanding, heartrending ceremony with lots of tears and lots of laughs." Goody's 21-year-old fiance Tweed arrived at the hotel in the morning in a blue Rolls Royce while 27-year-old Jade flew in by helicopter last night. Among guests seen arriving was the BBC Crimewatch presenter Nick Ross.
The bride managed to stand for most of her vows with the help of painkillers and took a seat for the last five minutes of the ceremony, the publicist told the gathered media.
