The angry students of Central Academy, Ajmer and their relatives on Monday set a school bus on fire after getting to know that they could not appear for Class X board examinations. They also broke the furniture of the School. Later, they registered a cheating case against the school administration. The Christianganj police arrested the director of institution, Shobha Suman Mishra, for cheating the students.A court on Tuesday sent director, to 15-day judicial custody in a case where student couldn't appear for Class X examinations as the school was not affiliated to CBSE.
Meanwhile, the parents of students moved the high court seeking relief. On the other hand, various students’ organizations urged chief minister Ashok Gehlot to take stringent action against schools that are playing with the future of students. On Monday, angry students of Central Academy, Ajmer and their relatives set a school bus on fire after learning that they could not appear for Class X board examinations.
The school disclosed at the last moment that they are not affiliated to CBSE. Parents of these students called a meeting on Tuesday and decided to move high court seeking permission to appear in the examination.
