The Agitation over the murder of Rajput leader Virendra Singh Nyangali has not calmed down even a month after the incident. Today rajput leader is Demanding a CBI inquiry and arrest of the culprits and meet with home minister Shantilal Dhariwal and insisted on immediate action.
The leaders were also demanding immediate arrest of the prime accused and his three nephews and a Narco test. However, the minister said that these will only be possible through judicial process. Nyangali was killed on February 6 in Rajgarh, Churu. The incident had infuriated a large section of Rajput community and protests were held in many regions of the state. The resentment was even higher as he was denied security cover by the administration despite repeated requests. Following the incident, four security guards were provided for Nyangali's family. In alteration to the present security arrangement, the representation has demanded a personal security officer for the family which was approved by the minister.
