Maharaja College is a college situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan in India. Maharaja College is famous for its quality education and play notable role in student and social politics of Rajasthan University.
History:
Maharaja college was established in 1944 and is one of six constituent colleges of University of Rajasthan . It is one of the oldest colleges of north India and rajasthan. It is designed by British architects and building provide a royal look.
Admission and Courses:
Maharaja college provide various UG and PG Courses for Humanities, Science and various other stream. Admission is based on Merit and to get admission you should have good marks in qualification examination.

    Let me be very clear on the above comment Maharaja College did not provide for the PG courses and any courses for humanity in UG. This college is totally dedicated to the UG science studies. And because of this, This college is the largest college in rajasthan for UG science studies.

    History of Maharaja College is not just 1944, it started day back from 1830's, then use to be under University of Calcutta(now Kolkata), then to Allahbad University then it came under Rajasthan Univeristy.One of the finest Science College of Rajasthan(and probably in India).It taught me to live for a cause. I can't recollect the whole story but would love if someone can update it in wikipedia.
    Whenver I see Jaipur's image anywhere in the world, I get nostalgic and feel whenever and from wherever and with whatever I have I can contribute to this college.

    One of the finest college of my time (1971-1974).very good teacher and my GURU Prof.R.C.Meharotra AND great teacher/administrator Dr. M.G Bhatewadekar.Ican forget the then environment. my salute and regards to all teachers for their dedication towards their work. At the same time i must admit the straight forwardness,sincerity and love towards sir's and college.
