2.5 Crore Chinese Mobile handset's service barred in India

From today onward 2.5 Crore Mobile handset will be barred from service as per guidance of Govt. of India. Telecom operator was on deadline of 31 March 2009 to stop services of those Handset who didn't have IMEI Number. Maximum Chinese handset do not have IMEI no which is threat to national security. Tracking handset without IMEI Number is difficult so government decided to barred service of these number.
