India win Azlan Shah Cup Title, beat Malaysia by 3-1

India win Azlan shah Cup today by defeating Malaysia by 3-1 at Malaysia today. Indian team is on top today after defeating pakistan yesterday. India team end their 13-year title drought by winning azlan shah cup title. Arjun Halappa score first goal in the 8th minute of the game against Malaysia but make it equal just after three minute. The Indian team didn't panic at all after losing the early lead as they played their heart out and went ahead again through Prabhjot Singh who sounded the board in the 20th minute. Malaysian players had tried their hard to level the scores again but the formidable Indian defense gave no room to them inside the striking circle. India led 2-1 at the break.
Indian tean maintain lead after break and Shivender Singh put team's third goal. The Indians were champions in 1985, 1991 and 1995 while Qualify in final in 2006 and 2008. After worst time of indain hockey that they does not qualify in Olympics 2008, this wins definitely brings a new era for Indian Hockey team.
