CBSE Class Xth Result is announced today and Mayo College Ajmer Student Diwakar Jain top the CBSE Ajmer Zone with 97.7% marks . The Ajmer region includes Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh and the union territory of Daman & Diu. Second rank is shared by two jaipur students Shashank Goyal of St Anselm’s School and Samyak Daga of Neerja Modi School who shared second ranks scoring 97.4% marks each. The overall result is 94.14%, as the girls, despite missing out on the top slots, managed to leave the boys behind by a margin of 1.5%. With 97% marks, Vasuki Tikkiwal of Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur, became the top scorer among girls. Overall girls result is 95.74% while, boys were behind with 93.07%.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) topped the performance chart with a 97.69% result providing best result in all CBSE Exams this year, Second rank is Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) with 95.24%. KVS occupied the second spot for fifth year in a row. However, independent schools including private and public ones, which secured 94.41% pass, had the highest number of distinction holders. However, Results of 39 students of Central Academy, Kotra in Ajmer have been withheld following an order by the Rajasthan High Court. The court had allowed these students to appear in the exam but directed the board not to declare their results till further orders as the school gave them admission without getting proper affiliation from the board.
