Manish Pandey becomes first Indian to Score century in IPL History

Manish Pandey play today a brilliant inning of 114 on 73 balls against Deccan Chargers, assuring semifinal seat for Royal challenges bangalore. This is also the first Century by any Indian in IPL History. Manish Pandey was born on September 10, 1989 in Nantilal, Karnataka. Nicknamed “Mani” in the cricket circle, he is a right-handed middle-order batsman, who occasionally bowls right-arm off break.
Manish Pandey was a part of the Indian team that lifted the 2008 International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 World Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His impressive score of 72 runs was instrumental in India’s win over the Bangladesh Under-19 team at the final match of the Triangular tournament in January 2008. Manish Pandey was selected to be a member of the Mumbai Indians team owned by Reliance Industries Limited to play in the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008. But in 2009 he was picked by his home team royal challengers bangalore and today play a great inning to secure a place in semifinal for Bangalore team.
