'Objectionable remarks' against Leader of the Opposition Vasundhara Raje and the wife of a Congress MLA during the general debate on budget on Monday, remained unresolved even as Opposition BJP stalled Question Hour proceeding for the second successive day. As soon as the House proceedings began at 1100 hrs today, unrelenting Kali Charan Saraf, Om Birla (both BJP) and many of their party colleagues stood up to press for demand of an apology from the ruling Congress for making personal remarks by its two members against the Leader of the Opposition.
The interruption from Opposition was protested by Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and others from the Treasury Benches. The pandemonium left Speaker Deependra Singh Shekhawat with no option but to adjourn the House for an hour within five minutes after resumption of today's sitting. the all issue raised on Monday when Minister of State Ashok Bairwa and ruling Congress member Raghu Sharma provocated by BJP member Bhawai Singh Rajawat's comments against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over liquor policy and culture, made remarks against vasundhara Raje. Now both parties are looking for apology from each other.
