Student Union demands Election in Rajasthan Universiy

Student unions from Rajasthan university protest demanding student union election in Rajasthan university which is ban from some years by University. Student union wings demonstrates on Wednesday, and demanded government intervention on the decision to hold students union elections. Protest rally was organised by Vishwaya Vidhyalaya Chatra Sangarsh committee (VVCS) and they marched from Rajasthan University gate (RU) to the Vidhan Sabha.

“We have submitted a memorandum to the higher education minister, Jitendra Singh and sought his intervention on the issue of union elections. The minister has assured to fulfil our demands, as promised in their manifesto,” Vijay Singh Choudhary, general secretary, VVCS. ABVP and other party leaders also organized protest for the university election.
