Doctor arrested while taking bribe at Jaykaylon Hostpital Jaipur

A senior paediatric surgeon, working as a professor and unit head in Jaykaylon Government Hospital, here was caught red handed while accepting a bribe of Rupees 4000 by a patient's attendant. Dr S B Sharma was caught at his residence yesterday while accepting advance payment of Rs 2000 for operating upon a child admitted in his ward, an Anti Corruption Bureau spokesman said. The doctor was denying date to operate upon the child, when patient's relatives insisted, he demanded money for the same. The accused doctor had allegedly demanded Rs 4,000 for the operation, the spokesman added.
