British actress Elizabeth Hurley is planning to buy a home in Rajasthan with her NRI husband, Arun Nayar as per british media report. If she buys a home in India, she will be the first international celebrity to do so. "This year, we're spending the whole holiday period in India. We are looking for property to buy in Rajasthan, which is where Arun and I got married. We love it out there in the desert," Hurley told a British magazine. It is believed that she is keen to take up residence in Jodhpur since she fell in love with the town after she tied the knot with Nayar at an 18th-century palace there.
It is believed that she has been going gaga over Rajasthan's rustic charm while speaking to friends back in the UK. "All our friends have already bagged bedrooms and booked holidays with us, so fingers crossed we close a deal somewhere". Two years ago she wed textile businessman Nayar in a lavish ceremony in England, followed by a second ceremony in his native state Rajasthan. Hurley has visited India several times since the wedding.
