Suspected traveller sent to Ajmer jail for 14 days

Ajmer judicial magistrate sent Andy Pag, who was arrested on January 11 from Pushkar, on a 14-day judicial remand. His website, www.biotruckexpedition.com, has also been blocked. The same cops who were clueless about David Coleman Headley when he spent months in Pushkar possibly plotting attacks, consider Pag to be a threat to national security as he was carrying a satellite phone which he did not know was illegal to carry in the country, something most Indians aren’t aware of.
Apart from certain sections of the Telegraph and Wireless Act, Pag has been booked under Section 70 of the IT Act. This is a serious charge and can be slapped only when someone is known to have hacked into a notified protected system.
