Rajasthan CM Ashok gehlot today takes one more initiative to bring transparency in system and remove corruption in Rajasthan in which ministers in Rajasthan will file their declaration of property and liabilities to CM every year. CM Ashok Gehlot said that the declaration would not be made public and there would be riders for those who have property and liabilities disproportionate to their known source of income.
This condition would not be applicable to MLAs, Gehlot said, adding this was the routine exercise at Centre where Union ministers used to file declaration to Prime Minister and now this system would be developed in the state too. This time the ministers would file their declaration for the current fiscal year and at the time of filing IT returns said gehlot today at jaipur

once again a hopeless case of publicity for good cause but without vision. I am not able to understand if CM has no powers too check the declaration and audit the same, then there is no issue making such policies. will there be any law to match the declaration with Income tax department? will there be investigation on finding the truth behind declaring the income?
