South Africa have defeated India by an innings and 6 runs in the first cricket Test in Nagpur on Tuesday. South Africa wrapped-up a solid performance against a clueless Indian camp, winning the first Test at Nagpur by an innings and 6 runs. With the humiliating defeat, India got their first Test defeat under MS Dhoni’s captaincy and also their claim to the number one Test spot was put to test. Earlier in the day, Sachin Tendulkar (100) fell after completing his 46th Test hundred as South Africa pushed India to the brink of a humiliating defeat . Tendulkar's departure soon after his third consecutive Test century put India in serious trouble as the hosts reached 223 for six at tea in their second innings on the penultimate day of the game.
