Shilpgram Udaipur will bring some more excitement for those who are fond of taste from different part of Nation. This year in July month Shilpgram is going to organize food festival as well as cultural fest. Tourists and Lake city people till now use to get Traditional Rajasthani food there but this year food festival will include food from all states of India. Food festival will be organized in Month of July 2010.About Shilpgram Fair Udaipur: Shilpgram is a paradise for Indian especially Rajasthani art and crafts lovers. The Govt. of India has set up the West Zone Cultural Centre to promote all kind of art forms in the western states of India such as Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and union territories of Daman, Diu & Dadra Nagar Haveli. Shilpgram Crafts Village in Udaipur is an initiative of this institution. Shilpgram - the Rural Arts and Crafts Complex is located to the west of Udaipur and close to Havala village in Rajasthan. The complex is developed over an area of 70 Acres. The sole purpose behind developing this craft village was to promote rural art and handicrafts and to encourage the rural and tribal craftsmen.
