
Both Saina and Alamsyah, who won his maiden major title, collected 7000 ranking points. "I was nervous at the beginning and committed too many errors. In the normal course, I should have won in two games, but this being my first tournament in two months, I was nervous. But in the second and third games, I played aggressively," Saina said. Later in the evening, top seeded mixed doubles pair of V Diju and Jwala Gutta won the title by beating Singaporean combo of Chayut Triachart and Lei Yao 23-21, 20-22, 21-7. Top seed Malaysian combo of Mohd Fairuzizuan and Mohd Zarki won the men's doubles crown by outplaying second seed Indian duo of Rupesh Kumar and Sanave Thomas, while women's doubles title went to top seeded pair of Lei Yao and Shinta Mulia Sari of Singapore, who beat Indians Ashwini Ponnappa and Jwala Gutta.
