Rajasthan LPG dealers 1 day strike affect normal life. LPG supply was paralyzed across Rajasthan as over 350 cooking gas dealers in the state went on a day-long strike on Monday demanding that all companies maintain demand and supply ratio in domestic sector. Distributors have to bear the consumers' anger for delay in the service. We are cursed and blamed. We do not want to own this responsibility anymore, Rajasthan State Gas Distributor Association President Deepak Singh Gehlot said.
He claimed supply of at least 1.25 lakh cylinders was affected in view of the strike giving a loss to the companies. The gas agencies ideally have to supply a cylinder to every customer in 30 days, but urban consumers have to wait for at least 50 days which goes up to 80 days for those in rural areas, Gehlot said.
