Security tightened in Rajasthan after Jama Masjid firing

Rajasthan has sounded a high alert in the wake of Jama Masjid firing incident in the national capital today and has stepped up security measures in the state. Strict vigilance and high alert order has also been given in view of the verdict on the Ayodhya issue due on September 24. Official sources said in this matter state police officials, Station House Officers (SHO) have been directed to take every precautionary measure. Officials were asked be very circumspect on suspicious activity and people in the vicinity of the capital and the periphery surroundings including hotels , railway stations and guest houses and other public places. According to sources, all police inspectors, police station in charges have been ordered to keep in touch with religious organizations and their officials to maintain communal harmony.
