Indian Hockey enter CWG 2010 Final in tie breaker match. India beat England in the men’s Hockey semi-finals of the Commonwealth Games after the match went into tie-break. It was a full house at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. The massive crowd applauded every move of the Indian team.
Beating European Champions England 3-3 (5-4) on penalties in the semi-final, India have booked a place in the final against Australia. In a nail biting penalty shootout the Indians were looking confident partly because of the home crowd who were cheering for them unlike their previous games. Even cricket fans seem to forget about their favorite game for a change. The final would be an interesting event, at least for the time being.
