Students of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) have decided to end their three-day strike after an assurance by the administration to look into their demands positively. The agitating students were on strike in a bid to push forward several of their demands regarding issues of student welfare.
Terming the meeting with the Dean Dr. R.C. Purohit as fruitful, central students’ union chief Samundra Singh Kothari said that the university administration had assured of all possible steps regarding their demands. Meanwhile, normalcy returned in the university campus with the end of strike with students returning to their classes in large numbers.
