Farmer KK Jakhad wins RJ Dalmia Environment Award

The Fourth Ramkrishna Jaidayal Dalmia Environment Award will be conferred upon Sangaria (Hanumangarh) based farmer Krishna Kumar Jakhad. The award instituted by Ramkrishna Jaidayal Dalmia Seva Sansthan, Chirawa (Jhunjhunu) carrying a cash reward of Rs One lakh and citation, will be given to Mr Jakhad for his work in the field of environment and water conservation, Selection Committee Chairman Prof Manohar Singh Rathore said. Besides this, five divisional level awards would also been given for works on water conservation/harvesting and environment projection, Mr Rathore said. The awards would be presented at a function in Chirawa in Jhunjhunu district on January 12 next, he added.
