Cold spell gave no let up to people at Mount Abu the only hill station in Rajasthan-, with the mercury further dipping by one degree to touch minus(-)2 Degree Celsius last night. The tourist destination in the desert land has been exposed to icy northerly winds and was recording sub zero temperature for past about 10 days, Meteorology office said here today.
In plains, Churu which recorded lowest minimum temperature yesterday, again turned to be the coldest place in the plains a Rajasthan as the mercury touched of 3.9 Degree this morning. Jaipur also shivered at 6.9 Degree last night turning it to be the coldest night of the season in the Pink City. Elsewhere in the state, Ganganagar recorded minimum temperature of 5.9 Degree, Udaipur's Dabok airport 6.6 Degree, Sikar 7 Degree and Jodhpur recorded 8.1 Degree, the weather man said.
