A black buck sanctuary will soon come into being in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan. ''Acting on initiatives from Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in the UN International Year of Forests-2011, the state government has decided to develop area around Guda Vishnoion in the western Rajasthan district as reserve for black bucks,'' an official spokesman said today. The reserve would be developed in area spread over 1,538 bigha of land around Gudha Vishnoian village, he said. The area has a fairly good population of black bucks and Vishnoi community settled in the area is known for its love for nature and wildlife, particularly trees and black bucks.Jodhpur to get black buck sanctuary soon
