Road accident claim 31 life in Rajasthan's Nagaur District in a head-on collision between a pick-up van and a truck near Kuchera in Nagaur district of Rajasthan this afternoon, police said here. The ill-fated van was carrying pilgrims back home to Lavari in Jodhpur district after paying obeisance at Butati dham when it rammed into the truck, about four kms from Kuchera. While 21 people died on the spot, three of the injured succumbed later on, police sources said, adding that the deceased included 16 women, six girls and two men.
