Swamy Aseemanand sent into Jail until Feb 15

A local court sent prominent Sangh Parivar functionary Swami Aseemanand--an accused in infamous durgah blast case--into jail under judicial custody till February 15. The accused,Chief of Hindu outfit Abhinav Bharat, who was into the ATS custody till today was presented in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate who remanded him into the judicial custody for five days. However, another accused in the case Bharat Shah was remanded into the police (ATS) custody till February 18, an ATS spokesman said. The Swami was arrested by the ATS on January 22 last, following his admission before a court his indulgence in the terror blasts at places like Malegaon, Hyderabad and Ajmer and on board the Indo-Pak Samjautha Express in 2007.
