Three Policeman suspended for custodial death in Kuchaman

Three police personnel, including SHO, have been placed under suspension, following death of a man in police custody at the Kuchman police station in Nagaur district. A Police spokesman said Rajendra Sharma, who was being interrogated in a case of cheating, was found hanging in a room at the police station yesterday. He was taken into custody for interrogation in connection with cheating a youth on the pretext of helping in recruitment in railway service. The kin of deceased alleged that Rajendra was being tortured by the police since February 9. SHO Hanumana Ram Bishnoi and two policemen were suspended and the matter was being probed.
