Rajasthan Teachers Eligibility Test(TET) 2011 in May

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is all prepared to conduct the teachers' eligibility test(TET) and declare the result by May end, Board Chairman Dr Subhash Garg said. Talking to UNI here today Mr Garg said, "We have already written to the state government to convey of our preparedness and seek approval to our schedule for the test." "If we get timely approval, TET would be held sometimes between May 10 to 20, the result would be declared by May 30 and the eligibility certificates to successful examinees would be issued by June 6", he said.
As per the provisions and regulations of the Right to Education Act(RTE), it is mandatory to pass TET for becoming eligible to apply for recruitment as teachers. The Rajasthan Government is due to recruit about 75,000 teachers in Grade II and Grade-III and the recruitment process could be completed only after TET.
