
The university that has started eight courses in the past two academic years, is introducing six new courses this session."Rajasthan has limited number of medical colleges, and near the area where our University has been established hospitals are only in Ajmer and Kishangarh. If a medical college and hospital is established at the University it will also be of great help to the rural areas in the vicinity," Prof M M Salunkhe, Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Rajasthan said here today.He said given the fact that the Minister for HRD and other top officials would be converging at the university, it would be an opportunity to take up the demand for the grant of a medical college."The state government has already given a proposal for additional land for a medical college.
