Rajasthan Pre-Medical Test (RPMT 2011) is an entrance exam for admission in to M.B.B.S. /B.D.S. /B.V.Sc. & A.H courses in various medical, dental and veterinary institutes in Rajasthan. Every year many students across Rajasthan appear for RPMT to get admission in the best medical/dental/veterinary institutes in Rajasthan. RPMT is a common entrance test for all the 3 courses conducted every year. Rajasthan PMT is conducted by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur. 85% seats in these institutes are reserved for the candidates of Rajasthan, admission to which is through RPMT, whereas there are 15% seats for All India candidates, who can get admission through AIPMT merit.
Institutes: There are about 15 institutes in Rajasthan offering bachelor medical/dental/veterinary courses through Rajasthan PMT. The students have to first clear the pre medical test and then have to face various tests which are conducted by the respected institutes. They are reputed and amongst the popular medical, dental and veterinary institutes in India.
Qualification: All the candidates appearing for RPMT should have a domicile of Rajasthan. A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply. Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2011.

Exam Pattern:
The entrance test will have 2 papers of 2 hours each with each paper having 100 objective questions:
Paper I-Physics & Chemistry-100 questions
Paper II-Botany & Zoology-100 questions
For every correct answer a candidate will get 3 marks and for an incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.
