Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) 2011 declared today (25 May 2011) on 8 AM. Over 4 lakh candidates took the exam at 1,051 centres across the country on April 11. Around 4.85 lakh students would be vying for the 9,600 coveted seats in the 15 IITs in India. This means there would be at least 50 candidates for one seat.
