KBC 5 from August 2011

Kaun Banega Karorepati(KBC) Season 5 to be hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan from August 2011. Big B has confirmed via his Twitter account that the new series of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' will launch in August. The hugely popular show will return with the 'Big B' as host, on Sony Entertainment Television Asia. It is expected to air in the same weekday prime time slot as it did previously. The new series is likely to take off after 'X Factor India' ends in August. "KBC back in August... and this time for a longer duration than last time... and yes welcome to all entrants... come join me," Bachchan wrote on Twitter.
The 68-year-old actor has already shot some promos with Avinash Gowariker and is excited to be sporting ace designer Rohit Bal's creations on the show this time. Posting a few pictures from the shoot, Big B tweeted, "Promo photo shoot by Avinash Gowariker... brilliant as always... used a new lighting system... excellent... and Rohit Bal on dress." One of the photos show Big B wearing a dark brown bandhgala, teamed with a maroon scarf and thick-rimmed glasses. Another photo showed him sporting a sliver blue bandhgala with a cream scarf.
