BJP's Agitation on June 23 against Black Money

BJP announced that the party will launch a four-day nationwide agitation from June 23 against black money and corruption condemning the midnight crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his followers at Ramlila Maidan. Meanwhile, the opposition party has launched a three-day programme to create awareness among the mass about the brutal action of the UPA government on Ramdev and his thousands of innocent people on June 4 midnight. Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday, BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitaraman demanded the apology from Congress high command Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to nation for undemocratic action against innocent people at midnight at the ground when people were sleeping.
Condemning the Congress, Sitaraman said that the government has not been able to give proper answer to the question raised by people on black money. She said that Congress is divided into two groups: one is headed by mature leaders like Pranab Mukherjee, who held discussion to persuade Ramdev and other group was responsible to take absolute control over any situation after the crackdown. The BJP also condemned the PM, Congress leaders Kapil Sibal and Digvijay Singh, who had justified the police action as appropriate on Ramdev and his supporters.
