Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reiterated here this evening that organizational posts in the ruling Congress state unit, including DCC and block committees president will be filled soon. Talking to mediapersons at his residence here Mr Gehlot said after appointment of Dr Chandrabhan as party state president, now nominations for state office bearers and DCC/BCC Chiefs would also been made by the PCC Chief in consultation with the party high command. "The state coordination committee would also been constituted soon", the Chief Minister said.
Over coordination between the party organisation and the government, Mr Gehlot said "Coordination was fine even during the period of Dr Joshi and I dont see any problem in maintaining good coordination even now under Dr Chandrabhan's stewardship." The party workers would be geared up for improving rapport with people and propagate party's policies and the government's achievements and programmes, the Chief Minister said. New state president Dr Bhan, who was accompanying Mr Gehlot, said that he met the Chief Minister to express his gratitude for his appointment on the top post in state party unit. Certain political issues were also discussed during the meeting, Mr Bhan said.
