Sonia Gandhi in Rajasthan on 3rd June

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will undertake one-day visit to Rajasthan on June 3 to lay foundation stone for Ratlam-Banswara-Dungarpur rail line and launch the "National Rural Livelihood Mission". An official spokesman said here today that Ms Gandhi will reach Dungarpur on June 3 to lay foundation stone for the rail line which would bring tribal dominated Banswara-Dungarpur districts on the railway's route map. Later, the UPA chairperson would reach Banswara to launch, nationwide, her government's ambitious project of the rural livelihood mission which would enable seven crore poor rural families in the country to earn livelihood and live better lives. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, accompanied by Union Minister and Congress State President CP Joshi and Union Minister and AICC General Secretary state incharge, Mukul Wasnik, visited Banswara and Dungarpur to take stock of the ongoing administrative preparation for Ms Gandhi's tour.
