Pakistan Foreign Minister Khar to visit Ajmer, Jaipur

Pakistan foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar is due to visit the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti today and the prospect and honour of welcoming the dainty dignitary has started a tug of war of sorts between the caretakers. An intense battle is on to get the credit for welcoming Khar to the shrine. The Dargah committee has also taken extra care while making the security arrangements.
Rabbani will leave for Jaipur on Thursday morning and from there she will go to Ajmer. After visiting the dargarh sharif in Ajmer, Khar will come back to Jaipur from where she will leave for Pakistan. Khar had also expressed her desire to offer prayers at the Jama Masjid in New Delhi, which was granted. However, the programme did not materialise. Khar, 34, had visited India twice earlier but this is her first visit here as foreign minister. The 34-year-old Khar, Pakistan's youngest and first female foreign minister, had visited India twice before she was appointed the foreign minister over a week ago. Khar held wide-ranging talks with India's External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna Wednesday. Krishna invited her to visit south India, specially Bangalore, India's IT hub.
