AIEEE Exam 2012 : All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2012 for admission to various NITs, IITs, deemed Universities and for few States is proposed to be held by Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi on 29th April, 2012 (Sunday) for admission in B. E./B.Tech. and B.Arch./B. Planning. The detailed information will also be available on AIEEE website i.e. www.aieee.ac.in in due course. This year, CBSE is planning to conduct online exam on mass scale. Students are advised to acquaint themselves.
Every year close to 1200,000 students appear for AIEEE, for AIEEE 2011 the number of candidates registered was 11,14,880 and for AIEEE 2010 the number was 11,18,148 students. The total number of seats across all participating institutes will be approximately 28000 for engineering and 1000 seats for architecture. AIEEE 2012 will be held on a mass scale hence candidates are requested by CBSE to get familiar with online exam pattern.
