Rajasthan Education Minister Reiterating commitment of the Rajasthan government to fill all the vacant positions of teachers in the government schools, state education minister today assured that not a "single post" would be left vacant in the forthcoming session. The government has set off for filling all the vacant positions in the schools and has undergone an extensive teachers induction programme right from third grade to the head master level. While addressing a function here in Jodhpur today, he said that we are going to induct 41,000 third grade teachers in the next month through zila parishads. "Besides this, the process of induction of 10,107 second grade teachers, 9,000 subject teachers and 1,500 physical teachers is underway," he said. He said that similarly, 2,500 teachers of Urdu and Sanskrit will also be inducted afterwards. The government has already inducted 9,000 second grade teachers and 1,622 lecturers. Requisition to fill 2,100 posts of headmasters has also been sent to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission. He said that the state government has taken upon itself this task, under which, the central government is funding the induction of only 14,600 second grade teachers and rest is being funded by state government itself. "Thus, we will be inducting 75,000 teachers in total in next few months, which will help in addressing the issue of shortage of teachers in the government schools," he added.
