Rajasthan Roadways exam cancelled after Paper leaked

Rajasthan State Roadways Transport Corporation (RSRTC) on Monday cancelled the examination conducted to recruit drivers and conductors after Jodhpur police arrested four persons involved in leaking of question paper an hour before the exam began on Sunday. Rajasthan Roadways conducted Exam on Sunday (23th Sept. 2012) for recruitment of driver, conductor and artisan on 945 post. This exam canceled after leaking of the paper. Now next date of exam not declare yet.  Taking cognizance of the reports, Manjit Singh, CMD RSRTC, in a meeting with senior officials cancelled the paper. He formed a departmental committee to look into the case and find out lapses. “The guilty will not be spared. The panel will thoroughly probe the incident and will also check the role of all officials involved in conducting the exam,” said Singh.
Meanwhile, the persons arrested have been remanded to 4 days’ police custody.
On Sunday, just before the exam was scheduled to start, four persons were arrested in Jodhpur for allegedly selling the exam paper for the post of roadways drivers, conductors and artisans. Later, three more were arrested from an exam centre for copying with the help of the leaked key. The police also recovered a pistol, cash worth Rs 8.78 lakh, a laptop, a photocopy machine and bundle of papers from the four people arrested from a railway quarter in Jodhpur.
