Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota has increased the Minimum Passing Marks for various Graduation courses from Next academic session of 2013-14 to 33% from 30%. RTU Students from next year have to put more effort to pass each subject as the pass percentage for each subject has been increased from 30% to 33%. The move is an attempt to improve the quality of students graduating from the university. The overall pass percentage will remain 30%, students need to score 33% in each subject and 30% in the internal exams. For an 80-mark paper, the pass marks will now be 27, up from earlier cut-off at 24.
This move will definitely improve the quality of students passing from RTU but affect more than 2 Lakh B.Tech Students and 50000 MBA, MCA Students of RTU, Kota.
