Rajasthan Cadre several IAS, IPS officers promoted on New Year

Rajasthan Cadre IAS, IPS officers gets New Year gift by state Government as six IAS officers and one IFS officer promoted while many officers from IAS, IPS and IFS were promoted to a higher grade. The department of personnel in its orders promoted A Mukhopadhaya, principal secretary (PS) to governor, Ashok Shekar, PS, Sanskrit education, GS Sandhu, PS, urban development and housing, Sunil Arora, PS, industries, CM Meena, PS, general administration department and Tapendra Kumar, administrator, Rajasthan Rajya Agriculture Marketing Board. All officers are from the 1980 batch and will serve in the same departments.
From the Indian Forest Services, AC Choubey, additional chief conservator of forests has been promoted to chief conservator of forests. The pay scale of three officers have been upgraded from forest conservator to additional forest conservator and 3 have been promoted to pay grade of forest conservator. Two IPS officers of 1988 batch BL Soni, commissioner, Jaipur Police and Uttkal Ranjan Sahu, inspector general (IG), planning have been promoted to pay scale of Additional Director General ranks (ADG). Biju George Joseph, Smita Shrivastava and Janardan Sharma have been promoted from DIG pay scale to IG pay scale
