The accident in Jaipur occurred in the kilometre-long Ghat Ki Guni tunnel Sunday. Guddi Devi and her eight-month-old daughter Arushi were killed when a truck knocked them off the motorcycle they were riding pillion on and mowed them down. The governor expressed condolences to Kanhaiya Lal Raiger, the motorcyclist who lost his 26-year-old wife, Guddi, and six-month-old daughter, Arushi, in the accident. The woman and her kid were run over by a truck that hit their motorbike from behind on Sunday afternoon. In her message, Alva vividly recalled the people’s chilling indifference for the accident victims
Meanwhile police on Tuesday arrested the trucker involved in mowing down a 26-year-old woman and her infant daughter inside the Ghat Ki Guni tunnel on Sunday.
