Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW) 2013 concluded

The second edition of Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW) 2013 that concluded Sunday certainly brought out the essence and flavour of the Rajasthan's royal culture and heritage but somehow failed to live up to expectations. Technical glitches that caused the delays in the shows and poor event management somehow disappointed the viewers. The main objective behind organising the fashion extravaganza was to promote the artisans and states' handicrafts, culture and textiles. Though several designers like Ritu Kumar, Vikram Phadnis, Pallavi Jaipuria, Payal Jain, Charu Parashar and Mandira Wirk brought out the best of Rajasthan's embroidery and prints in their collections, but few repeated the same old designs, prints and patterns.
Rajasthan Fashion Week (RFW) lives the true meaning of Fashion: a flash of colour with a dash of glamour. After celebrating the triumphant first season in 2012 RFW is now established as a recognized brand across the fashion industry of India and soon it will be projected to the international world of fashion. Our endeavors are not mere words but the action and we have already tied up with the world’s most known media brand FTV for our new season RFW 2013. RFW is designed to bring forth the aesthetic values of Fashion. Every person has a natural desire of looking good and feel ‘accepted’ in the socio-economic circle. Fashion plays an increasingly important role in an individual’s life because it is considered as a means of self-expression. RFW is trying to match steps with the ever evolving penchant of people and changing trends in fashion and accessories.
