Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on Tuesday announced the results of the final exam conducted in May 2013 and the common proficiency test (paper-pencil mode) held on June 17. Three students from Jaipur among
Top 10 rank in the CA final examination with nine students have made it to the league of top 50 successful candidates. Three students – S Aatresh (3rd ), Rajan Maheswari (4th ) and Vijay Bansal (8th ) – have secured positions in the top 10, which is probably the highest in the country from one city.
All top three rank holders of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) are from Andhra Pradesh. The total pass percentage in the exam is 27.02. As many as 86,109 male students appeared for the exam, of which 25.44 per cent passed, while out of the 52,637 female students who appeared, 29.60 per cent passed. The exams were held in 376 centres across the country. ICAI Jaipur chapter said that this year, 4,428 students appeared in the exam which is slightly higher than last year. This year, 1313 students from Jaipur centre appeared and a total 165 passed the exam.
