Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to come out with the dates for its Class 10 and 12 board examinations a month in advance. According to a notification put up on the CBSE website, the exams next year will start on March 1. The complete date sheet, however, is expected to come out in the last week of December.
Ending speculation that CBSE Class X and XII examinations will be advanced in view of the Lok Sabha elections early next year, the Board said the exams will be held on schedule. In a statement in New Delhi on Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education said the examinations will begin on 1st March 2014, as is usually done every year. Last year too, the exam had begun on 1st March and continued for almost a month.
